North Coast Clinical Psychology is a professional psychology clinic based in Ballina, NSW. We work exclusively with adults, providing treatment for anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, grief, sleep issues, and related concerns. Our approach is clear, structured, and grounded in the best available evidence.

Jane McGregor has been practising as a Clinical Psychologist in the Northern Rivers since 1994. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked in both public and private settings, and previously held academic roles at Sydney University, Bond University, and Southern Cross University. She was appointed Senior Clinical Psychologist for the Northern Rivers Area Health Service, where she established a Specialist Clinic for Anxiety Disorders.
Jane brings deep experience in treating anxiety, trauma, and adjustment to significant health-related conditions such as cancer and motor neurone disease. She is also experienced in working with grief, end-of-life concerns, mood and sleeping disorders, and stress-related conditions.
Jane’s approach is structured, no-nonsense, and highly personalised. She draws on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Psychoeducation, and Relaxation Training. Every client begins with a comprehensive assessment and works with Jane to develop a therapeutic roadmap tailored to their goals.
